WHS FFA Visits Wellington Food Bank

The Wellington FFA Chapter took more eggs to the Wellington Food Bank on Friday before the holidays.  The Chapter has donated 22 dozen eggs this fall.  The chickens the chapter is raising have begun production and will continue well into 2020.  Students are cleaning and grading eggs before they go to the food bank.  Eggs have also been donated to the High School and are being used by the kitchen staff in preparing meals for students.

NHS Winter Formal - Nice Attendance & Seasonably Fun!

NHS Winter Formal Dance, in support of the Wellington Food Bank, had a nice size crowd turn up Friday evening for the 2 hour affair. Admission was $5 or "5" non-perishable food items to go to the Wellington Food Bank. A large pile of such items soon appeared. Christmas was in the air, participants danced and visited - all seemed to be having a great time! Just "2" weeks until Christmas / New Year's break! Study hard and good luck on your finals Crusaders!!
