The Washington Elementary 5th Grade performed, if you will, at Coffee House #7 in downtown Seattle, I mean Wellington, this afternoon - it was POETRY SLAM time and these young folks did an awesome job. They wrote their own poetry, got up on stage with a mike, and read their poetry to the Coffee House patrons and staff...pretty cool stuff, enjoy this highlight video made from pics taken at "THE SLAM"...GO Mustangs!! NHS Winter Formal - Nice Attendance & Seasonably Fun!

NHS Winter Formal Dance, in support of the Wellington Food Bank, had a nice size crowd turn up Friday evening for the 2 hour affair. Admission was $5 or "5" non-perishable food items to go to the Wellington Food Bank. A large pile of such items soon appeared. Christmas was in the air, participants danced and visited - all seemed to be having a great time! Just "2" weeks until Christmas / New Year's break! Study hard and good luck on your finals Crusaders!!

WHS CHOIR Christmas Concert Highlights! (UPDATED)

The WHS Choir presented "WELCOME CHRISTMAS" at their holiday concert on Thursday, Dec. 5th. Choir Director Jennifer Ault, on maternity leave would have been proud of her students. Guest Director (Band) Allen Hisken filled in with Carol Hisken on piano, and together the group performed such classics as "White Christmas", "The Little Drummer Boy", "Carol of the Bells", "The First Noel" and "Holy Night".

WMS Radio Team Meets with USD 353 School Board Members!

Wellington Middle School students presented at the BOE meeting Monday night.

Anna Ewing, Milo Elder, Hank Shinliver, Brodee Lough and Gavin Witham are members of the WMS radio team. They gave the BOE information about WMS radio including their mission and goals, how they raise funding, day to day operations and their hopes for WMS radio in the future. Great job, Knights!
