First Day Back For Students - Lots of SMILES!

The "return to school" bells were ringing across our community today as USD 353 schools opened their doors to students for the 2017-2018 school year. Those "welcoming bells" will continue to ring daily through May 22, 2018! Lots of smiles on lots of faces as friends assemble (students and faculty) and prepare for the positive challenges and rewards that lie ahead this school year and beyond.

USD 353 CONVOCATION - The "Dream Team" Shares!

Wednesday was the first day back for the USD 353 Teachers. A breakfast followed by the Convocation took place in the WHS Auditorium. A "Dream Team" made up of both retired USD 353 teachers as well as a seasoned one or two "still on staff" members, presented their individual views about teaching, about kids, about public education, etc. Very enlightening and inspirational to hear from each one. The Crusader Band performed as well as this summers' Kansas Roadmap Reading Campers, who sang "their" song for all in attendance.

Welcome Back Teachers!

USD 353 Teachers report in today for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year! WELCOME BACK FOLKS!!
