                                USD 353 is excited to announce our new online enrollment!  Please log into your Infinite Campus parent portal and click
                                on the 2018-2019 enrollment tab located on the bottom left-hand side of the page. On August 7th, stop by the High School
                                and pick up a Kansas Star Visa Card
for each enrolled student and you’ll be good to go! This will eliminate waiting in lines
                                                                                                           and will allow you to enroll at your convenience.

                                   Please bring copies of birth certificate, immunization records and proof of address to the High School on August 7th.

Physics Students Learning About Newton's Laws!

Mrs. Audrey Gill's PHYSICS class members were learning about Newton's "second law" at WHS this week. For those of you not familiar with Newton's 2nd law, here 'tis:

Newton's second law of motion can be formally stated as follows: "The acceleration of an object as produced by a net force is directly proportional to the magnitude of the net force, in the same direction as the net force, and inversely proportional to the mass of the object."

Google Summit Conference Coming in January!

Do you have a business or a desire to learn about some simple, FREE tools in Google that will allow you to create surveys or questionnaires, websites, collaborative documents, presentations and MORE??

The Wellington School District has "Gone Google" and would like to let you in on the learning! Please join us on January 13th from 9:00-3:30 at Wellington High School for a day filled with great learning from Google Trainers from across the state.

WHS History Students Road Trippin' in Kansas City!

You can read books about it, you can listen to lectures about it, you can even watch videos and other media materials BUT there is nothing like the real thing and it's the real thing WHS Juniors participated in Tuesday on a 16 hour road trip to Kansas City and back home. WHS instructors Mike Wilmoth and Rick Phelps oversee these annual excursions. Between the 5:15AM departure and 9:45pm arrival back home, here's what they did!

Showing That Patriot R*E*S*P*E*C*T!

This month at Lincoln Elementary, the young Patriots have been learning about RESPECT as part of their Character Counts curriculum. In conjunction with that theme, numerous veterans were on hand as guest speaker Sgt. Eric Page addressed the students about respect for the flag and respect for each other. The students received instruction on "saluting" as well from Sgt. Page, a gesture in the military signifying respect.
