Mrs. Lawless' "Career and Community Connections" class at WHS,
along with FCCLA, hosted a fundraiser Volleyball Tournament on Monday during CRU-CON. Students wanting to participate, either as players or observers could pay $1, all proceeds going to the class to help fund projects, etc. Several teams participated in the tournament which consisted of "6" minute matches due to time constraints. In the end, Officer Yunker's team finished first which was of no surprise to most...4 of the 6 girls just returned with 3rd place hardware from the STATE 4A Volleyball Tourney and the other "2", athletes as well, returned home from many tennis matches this Fall with plenty of hardware. Officer Yunker knows how to pick a team!

It was all in fun of course and in the end,
a successful fundraiser and a good time for all in attendance!

The pics were taken by WHS Yearbook Staff Members Abby Wiesing and Kelly Kemper. Thank you ladies - nice pics!
