One-Act plays are similar to a short story. There is a complete drama within one act. It is brief, condensed, and single in effect. One situation or episode is presented, permitting no minor plots or side actions that may distract attention for the single purpose and effect being developed. Characters are few in number, quickly introduced, and very limited in character development. Dialogue and Plot must carry the action forward smoothly and quickly.

STEAM Night @ Washington Elementary!

Parents, students and staff at Washington Elementary took part in a STEAM night Thursday at the Home of the Mustangs. A large number of folks were on hand for the event which included pizza and drinks for all as well. What is STEAM you ask?

STEAM provides an avenue for formally teaching the inter-relationships of how subjects relate in real-life. STEAM-style education can be enjoyably and meaningfully delivered in more engaging and deeply embedding ways within the already well-established realm of education.

Jax Cornejo WINS Pioneer League Spelling Bee! (Updated!)

WMS had a solid group of Knights and Lady Knights take part in the Pioneer League Div IV Championship Tuesday. Congratulations to all of them for their participation, that takes considerable nerve and composure to participate in these kind of events and to do so at middle school age says a lot about this group of 5!

Kudos to Jax Cornejo who finished FIRST in the 7th grade division - he won it all, spelling the word Methuselah correctly! Great job Jax!
