IKE CHICKS Mrs. Saffell's kindergarten class at Eisenhower Elementary hatched chicken eggs as a science project in the classroom. The eggs had to be rotated for 18 days. They candled the eggs to see the baby chicks inside. 9 eggs hatched out of 18. Two of their eggs had half chicken/half turkey babies! Above, IKE students Trapper and Platt help their new feathery classmates mug for the camera!
